Mineola Middle School’s production of “Emma! A Pop Musical” brought energy, excitement, and star power to the stage with three spectacular performances on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. The cast and crew captivated audiences, delivering a modern twist on Jane Austen’s classic novel, infused with girl power and a powerhouse soundtrack featuring legendary hits from The Supremes, Salt-n-Pepa, Pat Benatar, Shania Twain, and Katy Perry.

On stage, students brought their characters to life with confidence, comedic timing, and high-energy dance numbers. Their pitch-perfect vocals and engaging stage presence filled the theater with an electrifying atmosphere, making every moment unforgettable.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew of 47 students ensured seamless transitions, lighting, and sound, working tirelessly to make every detail shine. With a total of 143 cast members, the production was a true testament to teamwork, creativity, and dedication.

A show of this magnitude wouldn’t be possible without the passionate faculty production team, whose hard work and commitment inspired and elevated the entire performance. The Mineola Public Schools community is incredibly proud of its talented students for delivering a Broadway-worthy production, proving once again that Mineola’s young performers are destined for greatness
