North Side School Students Bring Spanish to Life!

By Williston Post Staff

Third and fourth graders at North Side School recently took their Spanish learning beyond the classroom with an interactive scavenger hunt! As part of Katherine Conboy’s WLES classes, students labeled common school spaces—like the gym, cafeteria, and nurse’s office—with their Spanish names, reinforcing vocabulary in a fun, hands-on way.

“The students were so excited to share their learning with the school community,” said Faith Tripp, Director of World Languages and ENL. Now, each time they walk the halls, they’re reminded of their hard work and growing language skills!

Way to go, young linguists!
