East Williston Fire Department Steps Up for Hurricane Helene Relief

The East Williston Fire Department, in conjunction with the Village of East Williston and the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office, recently spearheaded a community-wide effort to collect and distribute essential goods for victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.

With drop-off points set up across the village, the department gathered non-perishable food, clothing, blankets, and hygiene products.

Thanks to the overwhelming support from local residents and businesses, truckloads of supplies will be sent to the hardest-hit areas, providing much-needed relief and hope to those impacted by the storm.

This joint effort showcases the true spirit of giving and the power of collaboration within our community.
