Wheatley Homecoming 2024: A Celebration of Spirit Despite the Rain

Despite a day-long 100% humidity, Wheatley’s school spirit was unstoppable at this year’s Homecoming celebration.

The day began with the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, honoring five alumni for their athletic achievements. Throughout the day, the Varsity and JV teams pushed through the wet conditions, with JV Girls Volleyball and Varsity Boys Soccer claiming key victories.

The evening ended on a high note with Varsity Girls Soccer winning under the lights. Meanwhile, the PTO, Wildcat Athletic Foundation, and Student Government hosted successful fundraisers, proving that a little rain can’t dampen Wheatley’s pride and enthusiasm.
