Boots, Bulls, and Beers: East Williston's Country Night Tent Party!

East Williston Tent Party

By Benjamin Low

The East Williston Tent Party's Country Night was a hit, with couples and friends arriving with coolers and cold drinks, dressed in their best country attire.

The DJ's country music and a thrilling mechanical bull ride perfectly complemented the western theme, with most attendees taking a shot at the bull.

"The community holds a tent party to bring neighbors together. It gives parents a much-needed night off with the convenience and safety of being within walking distance from home!” said Christina Rizzotti, who helped organize the event.

“It’s like having a huge party and no one has the sole responsibility of planning, hosting, or cleaning up. At the end of the night, everyone folds up their chair and rolls their cooler home. It’s truly a team effort."

Having been active in the community for five years, Christina and her family were honored to help organize the event. With guidance from Sean Dunn and support from Mayor Bonnie Parente, they ensured Country Night was a memorable success.
