Q&A with Violet on Voicing JJ in CoComelon Classroom:

What will you be doing with CoComelon?
I’m voicing JJ, an adorable character who’s full of curiosity and energy. It’s been such a joy to bring his voice to life!

What do you enjoy most about this experience?
Being in the recording studio has been a blast—working with Fiona, the director, and getting to act younger than I am was so fun. I especially love the giggling and singing parts! Making people smile is one of my favorite things, and I hope JJ brings joy to every episode alongside Ms. Appleberry.

How long have you been involved in theater?
Since I could walk and talk! I used to put on little shows for my family and stuffed animals right in our living room.

How did you get started in performing?
When I was about 4, my parents signed me up for a musical theater class at the Roslyn Theater Company, and I instantly fell in love with it. I’ve continued my training there and work with The Prep NY on voiceover and acting for film and commercials. I’m lucky to be represented by LAU Talent Management and Stewart Talent—they’ve helped me land amazing opportunities like this one!

What advice would you give other kids interested in performing?
Keep learning and stay focused on what you love. Not every audition will go your way, but something great will always come along if you keep trying. And it’s really important to celebrate the successes of others too—especially your friends! Hard work, dedication, and a little luck can make dreams come true.

What else would you like to share?
Being JJ has been a dream from start to finish. From the audition to recording, and now seeing my voice animated, it’s been such an amazing experience. As a local girl who’s grown up loving theater, I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity. I hope everyone enjoys the show as much as I’ve enjoyed being a part of it!
