Mineola Teacher Victoria Berkowitz Honored with National CYBER.ORG Educator Award

Mineola High School computer science teacher Victoria Berkowitz has been recognized with the prestigious 2025 CYBER.ORG Educator Award, celebrating her dedication to cyber education and preparing students for a safer digital future.

A former software developer turned educator, Ms. Berkowitz has been teaching at Mineola High School since 2021, leading courses in cybersecurity, AP CS Principles, Game Maker, and robotics. She credits her success to the support of her administration and fellow educators, emphasizing the district’s commitment to innovation and growth in STEM education.

Ms. Berkowitz will be honored at EdCon 25, CYBER.ORG’s annual educator conference, in Chicago from June 16-18.
