Murder, Mystery, and Laughter: Mineola Drama Club’s ‘Clue’ Wows Audiences

Mineola High School Drama Club brought the classic whodunit board game to life on stage with three hilarious performances of “Clue” on Nov. 22 and 23.

The story follows the colorful classic cast of characters as they try to solve a mystery while simultaneously trying to stay alive in this farcical slapstick comedy with a suspenseful twist.

The actors were a delight to behold, dressed to the nines and showing off remarkable comedic skill and timing as they delivered action at a dizzying pace and hit punchlines like seasoned pros.

Behind the scenes, the crew performed their tasks flawlessly, adeptly executing set changes without a hitch and helping propel the humor and intrigue with perfectly orchestrated lights and sound effects.

As the curtain came down, the audiences rose with adoration, offering sustained standing ovations at each performance. Members young and old left the auditorium with smiles on their faces, having enjoyed a night of theater that both delighted their sense of suspense and tickled their funny bone.
