Saint Aidan School Presents "Beauty and the Beast Jr"

by Stephanie Vitale and Jenny Rolston

The month of May was welcomed with open arms at Saint Aidan School, where students unveiled their rendition of "Beauty and the Beast Jr." in Monsignor Kirwin Hall.

Transforming the stage into a whimsical castle and a charming storybook town, the production whisked the audience into the beloved tale of Belle, Beast, Gaston, LeFou, and an array of enchanting characters.

Directed by Ms. Reagan Stone and brought to life with the creative flair of set and costume designer Mrs. Denise Marotta, students dazzled in three enchanting performances from May 3 to May 5.

Ms. Stone explains "Teaching children to follow their faith by sharing their talents with others is a gift. Helping this cast of kids grow and learn creatively is what it is all about for me as a director."

Monsignor Kirwin echoed with laughter, music, and the vibrant hues of costumes, drawing together faculty, families, and friends to revel in the talents of the young cast and crew. The cast and crew poured their hearts into this production and their dedication truly shone through, making it a performance to remember.

In her weekly address to Saint Aidan families, Principal Julie O’Connell raved “We have so much talent in our school and it was a great weekend celebrating! Congratulations to all and thank you to all our families for the tremendous support!”

Saint Aidan School extends heartfelt congratulations to all involved in bringing "Beauty and the Beast Jr." to life, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and creativity that flourishes within its walls. As the curtain falls on this enchanting chapter, memories of the magic onstage will linger, cherished by all who experienced it.
