August Prompts for Young Voices Spotlight

The Williston Post is seeking creative writing submissions from kids that could possibly be featured in our online newspaper each month.

The format is open: Send us short stories, poems, opinion pieces, plays, original jokes, nonfiction essays, or anything that sparks creativity and would be fun to share with the Williston Community!
Here are a few writing prompts to get you started, but feel free to send in your best work even if it's not related to the prompt!

PROMPTS FOR AUGUST:

1. The best part about summer vacation is...

2. Did you get to play with family members from far away? Who and where? Tell us about it!

3. Write us a summer poem. Use visuals and the five senses to paint a picture.
