North Side Elementary Movie Night: A Fun-Filled Evening with Ratatouille!
By Michele Cavallaro and Christina Kennedy
On Tuesday, October 29th, North Side Elementary students enjoyed a magical evening at our outdoor Movie Night featuring Ratatouille! Families and friends gathered under the stars on the blacktop, bringing cozy blankets and chairs to relax and enjoy the show.
The event kicked off at 6:00 PM under the night sky. Kids had a blast watching the adventures of Remy the rat, sharing laughs, and spending time with their friends and family.
It was a night to remember, filled with joy and laughter!
Celebrating Red Ribbon Week
In addition to enjoying the outdoor Movie Night, North Side Elementary students joined communities across the country in observing Red Ribbon Week. Throughout the week, students tied red ribbons to trees across the school grounds as a powerful symbol of their commitment to a safe, drug-free environment.
Wearing red ribbons and decorating the school with them served as a reminder of the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of drugs in America. By coming together to support this cause, North Side students and families are helping build a safer, healthier community for all. Thank you to everyone who participated in making Red Ribbon Week so meaningful!
